Linda Diane (Mautz) Carter, 70, of Xenia, went Home to be with her Lord on Thursday October 3, 2024, at the Hospice of Dayton facility on Wilmington Avenue.  She was born September 29, 1954, in Zanesville, Ohio, the daughter of Roger and Arlene (Hanks) Mautz.  She was a member of the Waters' Edge Christian Church.  She retired as a secretary, serving with the Wright-Patt Credit Union and several other companies in the Xenia area.  She is survived by her husband, Dennis Carter; her son, Bruce Carter; her daughter, Teri (Carter) Dunlap; brother, Tom Mautz of White Cottage, OH; sister, Pam (Mautz) Dooley of Lockesburg, AR; stepbrother, Darrell Swinehart, of Galion, OH; stepsister, Lynn (Swinehart) Mautz, of White Cottage, OH; grandsons, Sean Dunlap, Collin and Brody Carter; and granddaughter, Kayley Dunlap and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and step nephews and step nieces.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a stepbrother, Richard Swinehart. Viewing will be held at Water's Edge Christian Church on Thursday October 10th from 5 to 8pm.
