Mack E. Snyder, 74, of Xenia, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015, at his residence. He was born July 19, 1940, in Piketon, Ohio, the son of Thomas and Virginia Freshour Snyder. He was a 1958 graduate of Xenia High School, and was a director of the Greene County Fair Board (1993-2006). He retired as manager of Fairground Furniture after 38 years. He is survived by a daughter, Windy Snyder, Enon, two sons, John Snyder, Franklin, and Allen Snyder, Xenia, the mother of his children, Vicki Stanley, Miamisburg, five grandchildren, Carson Snyder, Samuel Young, Lucas Boyd, Aiden Snyder, and Nadia Brotherton, a sister-in-law, Sally Snyder, Wilmington, by several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Michael Snyder, Washington C.H., and by many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and by two brothers, Jerry L. Snyder and Lowell Thomas Snyder. Mack was a huge fan of The Ohio State University Buckeye's football team, enjoyed NASCAR, and loved going to the Greene County Fair each year. Mack will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Thursday, February 26, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia.
