Marcella Mae Smith, 93, of Xenia, passed away Friday, September 30, 2016, at her residence.  She was born May 28, 1923, in Greene County, Ohio, the daughter of William and Mildred Sharp Faha. She was a member of St. Brigid Church and retired as a dental assistant with Dr. Ronald J. Greene. She is survived by two daughters, Ronda M. Smith, Beavercreek, and Nancy J. (Mark) Sweeterman, Centerville, 3 grandchildren, Alison Sweeterman, Melissa Sweeterman, and David Sweeterman, two brothers, William (Judy) Faha, Xenia, and Harold (Karen) Rumbaugh, Bainbridge, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband, David Lewis "Louie" Smith, on July 11, 1982, and by a daughter, Jean Kaye Smith. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am, Tuesday, October 4, at St. Brigid Church, 312 Fairground Rd., Xenia, with Rev. John Krumm officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church. Burial will be in St. Brigid Cemetery.
