Margaret Louise "Peg" (Jones) Harruff, 85, of Xenia, passed away Friday, January 5, 2018, at Greene Memorial Hospital. She was born May 16, 1932, in Greene County, Ohio, the daughter of Elmer R. and Myrtle D. Linkhart Jones. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, and was a former lab technician for Dr. Charlotte Ames. She is survived by her husband, Ray W. Harruff, whom she married, December 5, 1958, a son, John Harruff, Yellow Springs, two daughters, Meribeth Harruff, and Amy L. Harruff (Rebekah Little), of Xenia, a granddaughter, Maggie DeBord, Jamestown, two sisters, Beverly (Robert "Butch") Smith, and Rebecca (Ron) Beason, a brother, Timothy L. (Mary) Jones, sisters-in-law, Trude G. Jones and Nancy May, all of Xenia, by numerous nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and by five brothers, Robert M. Jones, James E. Jones, Thomas A. Jones, David L. "Larry" Jones, and Kent W. Jones. Peg will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
