Margaret V. (Newcomer) Renner, 94, of Kettering, formerly of Xenia, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2017, at her residence. She was born April 17, 1922, in Xenia, Ohio, the daughter of Emmett Brown and Grace Wilson Newcomer. She retired from Beavercreek City Schools. She Is survived by a daughter, Kathy Hart, Kettering, a son, Glenn L. "Skip" (Debbie) Renner, III, Beavercreek, four grandchildren, Jason (Connie) Hart, Brian (Brooke) Hart, Scott (Jessica) Renner, and Jeremy (Taylor) Renner, eight great-grandchildren, Kelle, Brett, Arabella, Julia, Gavin, Kendall, Halley, and Colton, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Glenn L. Renner, Jr, on July 5, 2012, a sister, Irma Whittington, and by five brothers, Raymond, Paul, Marlin, Harry, and Joseph Newcomer. Margaret enjoyed spending her retirement years with her husband in Florida as well as spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Services will be held at 11am, Friday, February 10, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia, with Pastor Gary Gayhart officiating. Visitation will be held from 10am Friday, until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Xenia.
