Marjorie Jane Denzin, 93, of Xenia, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2015, at 10 Wilmington Place, Dayton. She was born August 9, 1922, in Marinette, Wisconsin, the daughter of Arthur James and Renna Norris Whitford. Jane graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1944 with a degree in Medical Technology and had a successful career in several laboratories. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church; Chapter BC, P.E.O. Sisterhood and was a volunteer at the Xenia FISH Pantry. She is survived by a daughter, Debra (Jeff) Faber, Richardson, TX, a son, David (Kristine) Denzin, Ann Arbor, MI, five grandchildren, Drew (Jennifer) Denzin, Ann Arbor, MI, Brent (Kristen Ekeland) Denzin, Evanston, IL Meredith Faber and Melissa Faber, of Houston, TX, and Matthew Faber, Pittsburgh, PA, four great-grandchildren, Elle, Whitford, Cassius, and Colette Denzin, a sister, Margaret Papenfuss, Spring Hill, FL, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald R. Denzin on May 1, 1995, a son, Mark Denzin, and by a brother, James Whitford. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no visitation.
