Marjorie J. (Clancy) McCreight, 95, of Xenia, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on, Saturday, January 24, 2015, at Liberty Nursing Center. She was born April 24, 1919, in North Canton, Ohio, the daughter of Walter and Louise McElhenie Hartman. She was a former member of First Reformed Church and attended Oldtown United Methodist Church. She retired from Greene Memorial Hospital and the Greene County Department of Health. She is survived by a sister, Mildred Huffman and a brother, Maurice (Vivian) Hartman, all of Xenia, by several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Robert Clancy, in 1971, her second husband, Charles McCreight, in 1979, by two brothers, James "Ray" Hartman, in 1966, and Robert "Bob" Hartman, in 2010, and by a brother-in-law, Jack Huffman. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family at Beaver Cemetery. Contributions may be made to a favorite charity in her memory.
