Marjorie E. Williams, 94, of Xenia, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017, at Greene Oaks Health Center. She was born October 31, 1922, in Xenia, Ohio, the daughter of George D. and Minnie Thompson Mercer. She is survived by two daughters, Robyn Davis, Fairborn, and Myrna C. (Richard) Aikins, Xenia, a son, Daniel C. (Chastity) Williams, Sardinia, six grandchildren, Kim (Roger) Morris, Lorraine (Martin) Channels, Sr., Asia (Scott) Kellner, Sarah Aikins, Breanna (Matthew) Bailey, and Dakota Williams, 14 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, a sister, Danetta Newland, Chillicothe, by numerous nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, William Lee Smith, on April 1, 1989, her second husband, Russell G. Williams, on September 19, 1979, by two grandchildren, Nichol Sanford Hinojosa and Jason Williams, by three sisters, Viola Mercer, Drusilla Meade, and Peggy Dill, and by three brothers, John W. Mercer, Raymond Leon Mercer, and Volney Mercer. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Thursday, January 19, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Services will be held at 12 noon, Friday, January 20, at Life Change Church-Pike County, 611 Grassy Fork Rd., Poplar Grove, OH. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Poplar Grove.
