Obituary

Martha Ellen Storer, 99, of Xenia, went home to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, December 12, 2015, at Hospitality Home East. She was born April 13, 1916, in Brown County, Ohio, the daughter of Raymond and Edith Scott Newbry. She retired from Hospitality Home East Nursing Home in 1998 at the age of 82 and was a member of Xenia Nazarene Church, where she taught Sunday School and Junior Fellowship for many years. She is survived by a daughter, Joy Bradley, Xenia, six grandchildren, Ty (Tiffany) Bradley, Xenia, Craig (Teresa) Bradley, Kevin (Sheila) Bradley, all of Fairborn, Scott (Lisa) Bradley, Bowersville, Andy Storer, and B.J. Storer, of Michigan, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, a daughter-in-law, Rhonda Storer, Atlanta, GA.,  a brother, Donald Newbry, Tennessee, by numerous nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Melvin Storer, in November 1973, a son, Ronald Storer, a son-in-law, Jack Bradley, three sisters, Georgia Mae Allen, Faythe Giglio, and Kathryn Ertel, by an infant sister, and by three brothers, Richard Newbry, Benny Ray Newbry, and Meredith Charles Newbry. Martha will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Services will be held at 10am, Wednesday, December 16, at Xenia Nazarene Church, 1204 W. Second St., Xenia, with Rev. Michael Hancock officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Port William.
