Mary Elizabeth Angi Boeck 93, of Jamestown passed away December 23, 2023, at The Ohio Masonic Home in Springfield. She was born on January 14, 1930 to Nicholas and Mary Angi. She was a graduate of Roosevelt High School and Miami Jacobs College. She married Robert Boeck in 1954 and they lived on farms in Spring Valley and then Jamestown. She was a member of the Jamestown United Methodist Church for over 50 years and taught Sunday School at the Hungarian Reformed Church, and the United Methodist Church in Spring Valley and Jamestown.  She worked for several years at Frigidaire in the purchasing department and also helped run a dairy farm with her husband.

She was an avid reader and loved traveling, walking, playing cards, and visiting with family, friends, and neighbors.  She took great pride in being a farm wife, homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Boeck, and brothers Micky, James, and Bela Angi. She is survived by her sons Tim (Mindy) Boeck of Cedarville, Todd (Amy) Boeck of Mechanicsburg, and David (Marcia) Boeck of Jamestown, grandchildren Samantha Boeck, Heather Hart (Adam), Sophia Boeck and William Boeck, great grandchildren Dane and Annie Hart. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews, special neighbors Marge Paugh and Mary Tidd, and blessed with a multitude of church family and friends as well as her Euchre club and Spring Valley Canasta partner Nancy McCall.

Mary will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Graveside services will be held at 3pm, Friday, December 29, at Grape Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to The Jamestown/ Silvercreek Fire Department, 28 East Xenia Street, Jamestown, 45335.
