Mary Louise (Armentrout) Jones Pickering, 92, of Xenia, passed away Monday, March 22, 2021,at her residence. She was born November 27, 1928, in Greene County, Ohio, the daughter of Harold B. and Louise Ledbetter Armentrout.  She was a member of Faith Community United Methodist Church, and retired from DP & L.  She is survived by two daughters, Linda Smith, Xenia, and Debbie (Todd) Lecklider, Bellbrook, two grandchildren, Andrew (Sarah) Lecklider, California, and Aaron (Tiffany) Lecklider, Columbus, three great-grandchildren, Myla, Mazy, and Mia, by numerous nieces and nephews, and by many close extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of over 30 years, Donald C. Jones, on August 10, 1999, her second husband, Russell A. Pickering, on May 2, 2018, and by a brother, Dr. John W. Armentrout. Mary will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Private services will be held by the family in Spring Valley Cemetery with Pastor Kirk Peterson officiating.
