Mary Ann (Donahue) Grooms, 86, of Xenia, passed away Friday, July 3, 2026, at Shawnee Estates. She was born June 4, 1940, in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Edward and Edith Sayers Donahue. She was a graduate of Kingman High School, and retired from Plasco Molding, Xenia. She is survived by her children, Pam Grooms, Julie Honican, Jennifer (Aaron) Scranton, and Alan (Teresa) Grooms, 9 grandchildren, Jeremy (Emily Stout), Danielle (Carlos) Camba, Shane (Sarah) Davis, Jessica Honican, Seth (Ashley) Adams, Adams Grooms, Christian (Sydney) Henry, Makayla Grube, and Madison Grube, 12 great-grandchildren, Kaci Stout, Oakley Stout, Bodi Stout, Kinsley Davis, Kaleigh Camba, Isabel Camba, Cade Henry, Noa Henry, Lucas Henry, Ka’mari Stephens, Aliyah Horsley, and Savannah Horsley, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandchild Zakary Henry, a great-grandchild Kaden Camba, by three sisters, Ruth King, Helen Ridenour, and Doris Oster, and by four brothers, Edward, Thomas, Joseph, and Gerald Donahue. Mary Ann will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Graveside services will be held 11am, Thursday, July 9, in New Burlington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a favorite charity in her memory or to the Dementia Society of America at Dementia Society of America.
