Mary Ellen (Spitler) Jenkins, 92, passed away on July 14, 2023, at Jamestown Place Health and Rehab.

Mary Ellen was born on September 17, 1931 in Turkey Texas, the daughter of Paul and Eula Mae Lane Spitler.

She is survived by her children.  Paulette Downing, Stephen Jenkins, and Brad Jenkins, eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, a brother, Charles Spitler, and 13 nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband James W. Jenkins, on November 30, 1995, a sister, Helen L. Penewit, on January 7, 1973, a brother Jim Ray Spitler, on February 7, 2006.

Mary Ellen will be greatly missed by those that knew and loved her.

Services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, July 21, 2023, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia Ohio.  Visitation will be held from 6 to 8pm Thursday July 20, 2023, at the funeral home.  Burial will be at the Bellbrook Cemetery.
