Mary Louise (Jones) McClelland, 99, formerly of Xenia, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Brightstar Senior Living, Mason. She was born April 20, 1925, in New Burlington, Ohio, the daughter of LeRoy A. and Ethel Curry Jones. She was a member of Xenia Friends Church. She is survived by a daughter, Judith (Larry) Andrews, Mason, a son, Douglas (Amy) McClelland, Springboro, son-in-law, David Hackney, Wilmington, nine grandchildren, Suzanne Addison, Mark (Sarah) Hackney, Kent (LeAnn) Hackney, Angela Barker, Laura (David) Baker, Brad McClelland, Blayne McClelland, Shane (Kate) Andrews, and Leigh Andrews, 20 great-grandchildren, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harold Franklin McClelland, on March 15, 2001, a daughter, Patricia Hackney, and by two brothers, Donald Jones and James Jones. Mary will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Services will be held at 11am, Wednesday, November 6, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia, with Pastor Nancy McCormick officiating. Visitation will be held from 10am Wednesday, until service time. Burial will be in New Burlington Cemetery.
