Michael Alan Crawford, 59, of Fairborn, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2022, at Soin Medical Center. He was born May 3, 1963, in Xenia, Ohio, the son of William B. and Marjorie L. Sheley Crawford. He was employed with Jeff Schmitt and was an amateur radio enthusiast and active member of the Dayton Hamvention. He is survived by his wife, Janice (Fredenburg) Crawford, whom he married, May 25, 2002, a daughter, Christina (Daniel) Shurts, Hilliard, a grandson, Lucas William Shurts, two brothers, William Dennis (Marci) Crawford, Bucyrus, and David A. (Lee) Crawford, Beavercreek, a sister, Linda L. (Gary) Peach, Lakeland, FL, by several cousins, nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and by his first wife, Karin Crawford. Mike will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Graveside services will be held at 11am, Tuesday, December 27, in Woodland Cemetery, Xenia. There will be no visitation. A Celebration of Mike's life will be held at a later date.
