Michael Lee "Mick" Amlin, 70, of Dunedin, Florida, a very devoted Christian husband, father, and avid golfer, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015. He was born December 8, 1944, in Springfield, Ohio, the son of Ralph D. and Jeannie Stickel Amlin. He served in the United States Air Force in the 1960's and worked as a caddie from a young age at WGC Golf Course. He is survived by his wife, Julie (Sutton) Amlin, whom he married March 18, 1998, a son, Todd Amlin, Dunedin, FL, daughter, Heather Amlin, Clearwater, FL, step-daughter, Shawna Carlberg, a sister and brother-in-law, Sally (Tom) Holub, sisters-in-law, Sharon Sutton, Cindy Nelson, Kathy Sutton, brother-in-law, Jon Sutton, several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews, and by numerous close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Ronald D. Amlin, nephews, Marcus Duane Amlin and Kevin Wayne Blanton, and by a brother-in-law, Michael Sutton. Services will be held at 1pm, Friday, March 6, at the Country Side Country Club, Clearwater, FL.
