MIldred Ina (Hartman) Huffman, 91, of Xenia, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at Xenia Health and Rehab. She was born January 5, 1927, in Xenia, Ohio at home, the fifth child of Walter and Louise McElhenie Hartman. She attended 2 one-room schools, Oldtown Run and Hyslip School and was a 1944 graduate of Xenia Central High School. She was a member of the First Church of Christ, Xenia, where she served as Bible School secretary for many years. She retired from the OSSO Home/OVCH after 36 years of employment. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Vivian Hartman, Xenia, nine nieces and nephews, numerous great-nieces and great-nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 64 years, John L. "Jack" Huffman, on October 2, 2013, a sister, Marjorie J. McCreight in 2015, and by three brothers, James "Ray" Hartman, in 1966, Robert "Bob" Hartman, in 2010, and Maurice Hartman, in March 2018. Mildred will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Services will be held at 11am, Wednesday, October 31, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia, with Rev. R. James "Pete" Creamer officiating. Visitation will be held from 10am Wednesday until service time. Burial will be in Beaver Cemetery, Beavercreek.
