Minnie F. Davis, 100, of Xenia, passed away Friday, February 26, 2016, at her residence. She was born August 26, 1915, in Manchester, Ohio, the daughter of Alfred C. and Janie Frazier Scott. She was a former member of Faith Community United Methodist Church, Xenia, and Community Church, Russells Point, OH, where she had made her home previously for eighteen years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. "Ellie" Davis, sons, Frederick W. Davis and Barry L. Davis, daughter-in-law, Judy Davis, sister, Frances Massie, and by a brother, Elwood Scott. She is survived by a son, Charles M. "Mike" (Sherry) Davis, daughter-in-law, Linda Davis, granddaughter, Cindy Davis, grandson, Michael W. Davis, step-granddaughters, Carrie Collier, Kelly O'Grady, and Meredith Vamos, all of Xenia, great-grandchildren, Christopher Davis, Columbus, Cameron Collier, Scott Collier, Karli Shaw, Megan Miller, Braedon Miller, and Austin Vamos, of Xenia, by two nieces, special friends, Mary Higgins, Xenia, Patricia Dixon, Bellefontaine, and by a host of friends over the years. Services will be held at 11am, Wednesday, March 2, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia, with Rev. John Lockwood officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30am Wednesday, until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Valley View Memorial Gardens, Xenia.
