Murdell Bowers, 95, of Xenia, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Stonespring of Vandalia. She was born December 20, 1929, in Xenia, Ohio, the daughter of Howard and Reva Smith Vandeman.  She retired as a registered nurse. She is survived by her children, Nancy and Scott (Carmen), two grandchildren, Mary and Daniel, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and by her husband, John Lewis Bowers. Murdell will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
