Nancy L. Curtis, 82, of Xenia, went Home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at Greene Memorial Hospital. She was born November 6, 1936, in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Raymond and Evelyn McCoy Isenbarger. She was a member of Eleazer United Methodist Church, and was a volunteer with Common Cup where she enjoyed cooking pies for meals. She retired as a cook with Xenia Community Schools (Spring Hill Elementary). Nancy enjoyed spending her summers with her family vacationing to Lake Cumberland in Kentucky, where she enjoyed boating, swimming, and playing cards. She is survived by her husband, Russell M. Curtis, whom she married, April 2, 1955, two daughters, Laura (David) Aldridge, and Beth (Wayne) Owens, five grandchildren, Brittany (Zach) Shoemaker, Amanda (Andy) Landis, Sarah (Ryan) Simpson, Courtney Aldridge, and Brandon (Mollie) Nicoll, nine great-grandchildren, Blake, Hunter, Riah, Owen, Sammy, Theo, Rylan, Alivia, and Ezekiel, two honorary grandchildren and one honorary great-grandchild that she loved so dearly, Bryan, Amber, and Mya Simpson all of Xenia, two brothers, David (Helen) Isenbarger, Xenia, and Mike (Karen) Isenbarger, Kettering, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Linda Eck, and by a brother, Richard Isenbarger. Nancy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Services will be held at 10am, Thursday, November 29, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia, with Rev. John Beers and Rev. Jonathan Morris officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Valley View Memorial Gardens.
