Elizabeth Lewis, 99, of Xenia, went Home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, September 11, 2026, at St. Leonard’s of Centerville. She was born October 30, 1926, in Jewel Ridge, Virginia, the daughter of Mose Charles and Flora Pearl Hinkel Beavers. She was a member of the Ledbetter Road Church of God. She is survived by a son, George W. Lewis, II, three daughters, Wanda Hill, Elizabeth Valdez, and Lora (Jim) Bennett, sixteen grandchildren and step-grandchildren, by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 56 wonderful years, George W. Lewis, Sr., on February 8, 2003, two sons, Roger Lewis and Travis Lewis, a daughter-in-law, Marsha Lewis, a grandson, Jacob Bennett, a granddaughter, Devon Hill, and by a son-in-law, Ron Hill. Elizabeth will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Private graveside services will be held in Valley View Memorial Gardens.
