Ned Lewis Martin, 71, of Xenia, passed away in hospice care at home on Friday, March 13, 2015. He was born April 29, 1943, in Jamestown, Ohio, the son of Fredrick and Una Williams Martin. He is survived by his parents, his wife, Celia Kay (Mercer) Martin, whom he married, February 22, 1969, two daughters, Kimberly Williamson-Bowen, and Gina (Bill) Hassan, all of Xenia, a son, Daniel Rogers of Chillicothe, two grandchildren, Austin Lewis Williamson Xenia, Janna Nicole Rogers of Chillicothe, brother-in-law, Thomas Elwood (Sharon) Mercer of Colorado, sister-in-law Gladys Drucilla Stollings of Xenia, and an extended amount of family members and friends. Ned was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene of Xenia and served in the United States Army. He was employed by USI of Xenia starting in 1967. He was then promoted to Productions Shift Supervisor in 1974. In 1986 he was promoted to Facility Supervisor at the headquarters in Cincinnati of Millennium (formerly known as USI) where he retired in 1997. Services will be held at 10am Tuesday, March 17, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Monday at the funeral home.
