Neil M. Keller, Sr. 83, passed away December 1, 2016 at Brookside Hospice in Palm Harbor surrounded by his loving family. Neil was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia; his mother, Ada McPherson; and his brother, Robert Keller Sr. He is survived by 5 children: Kathi Keller of Clearwater; Karen (Mike) Campagna of Palm Harbor; Neil (Kim) Keller of Tarpon Springs; Kelsey Keller of Dunedin; and Kendra (Chris) Magavero of Spring Hill; along with a devoted friend, "Myrt" Thaden. He was "Grampa" to 10 grandchildren: Andrea Isel; Laura Turner; Kristina, Jennifer, Caitlyn, Alisha, Amanda and Colton Keller; Anna Strahan; and Sarah Magavero. He was "Great Grampa" to 8 great grandchildren with 1 on the way. Neil was born in Bloomington, OH on March 7, 1933. Dressed in his Air Force uniform, he hitchhiked Rt. 66 from George AFB home to marry Patricia, his high school sweetheart, on May 31, 1953. After 3 years in Wrightwood, CA, they returned to Xenia where they raised their family until moving to Dunedin, FL in 1969. Neil was an avid softball player for decades and president of the Clearwater Softball Assoc. for 14 years. He was, also, the ultimate Ohio State Football Fan. Neil worked at NCR in Dayton while owning and operating Keller's Antenna Service in Xenia, Ohio. In Florida, he was a sales rep. for Mountain Electronics and Electrolock EMS. In January the family had a private memorial service in Florida. A public memorial service will be held at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia, on Monday, March 20th at 10 am. There will be a light lunch and opportunity for fellowship at Faith Community United Methodist Church on Country Club Drive at 11 am following the service. Private interment will be at Valley View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation in honor of Neil to: Xenia Youth Athletic Association, P. O.
