He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Lawrence M. Peterson, and great-grandsons, twins, Jett William and Zeke Ryan Baker.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Anna Louise (Jones) Wright, whom he married December 22, 1951.  Loving father of four children, Joy (Andrew) Warner, Greensboro, GA, David Wright, Centerville, Martin (Kelley) Wright, Beavercreek Twp., Julie Stewart and Kevin Stewart, Waynesville.  Proud grandfather of six grandchildren, Dr. Amber (Justin) Baker, Beavercreek Twp., Jared (Laura) Wright, Apex, NC, Abi Wright, Las Vegas, NV, Jill Wright and David (Betsy) Wright, all of Xenia, and Hannah Stewart, New York, NY, six wonderful great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Neil was an avid golfer and enjoyed watching sports, but none more so than The Ohio State Buckeyes.  His love for travel took him and his wife throughout Europe, Asia, and all but 2 states.  But by far, the trips he took his entire family to on Hilton Head Island were the ones most cherished.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.  A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of his family on Hilton Head Island.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of your choice in his memory.  Condolences may be made to the family at www.NeeldFuneralHome.com
