Nicholas James Mowen, 55, of Sabina, formerly of Xenia, passed away Monday, December 17, 2018, at Ohio's Hospice of Dayton. He was born January 15, 1963, in Lima, Ohio, the son of Dale L. and Frances Brennan Mowen. He attended St. Brigid Church, and was a veteran of the United States Army. He is survived by his wife, Doris (Davis) Mowen, a daughter, Nancy (Robert) DeBoard, Marion, a son, Nicholas Mowen, II,  Sabina, a sister, Dawn Mowen, Xenia, a brother, Donald (Judy) Mowen, Dayton, a granddaughter, Savannah DeBoard, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and by a brother, Dale L. Mowen, II. Nick will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Services will be held at 10am, Friday, December 21, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia, with Rev. Andrew Cordonnier officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Brigid Cemetery.
