Obituary

Norman Edgar DeHaven Age 79 born in Spring Valley, Ohio and long time Xenia, Ohio resident met his Lord and Savior while surrounded by family on March 26, 2017.  He was born September 10th 1937 to the late Elmer and Martha DeHaven.  Norm also is preceded in death by his only sister Bettie DeHaven and they are all having a beautiful reunion. Norm was retired from Greene County Ohio Highway Dept.  He leaves to cherish his life here on this earth to his wife of 46 years Diana DeHaven, his son Robert DeHaven and wife Angela,  grandchildren Corey DeHaven, Cole DeHaven and Jordyn and husband Austin Knisley and greatgranddaughter Kinley Rayne. Also his step son Randy and wife Inez Muncy and grandchildren Jimmy and wife Kara Muncy and greatgrandchildren Thaddeus and Isabella, Derek and Brittany Muncy, and Darcie Muncy and greatgrandchild Scarlett.  Norm had such a passion for life and community and was involved in Greene County React and CB Club, Track photoprapher @ Kil Kare, Winston Cup photographer, Ohio Junior Miss, Jaycees, Xenia City Traffic Commission, Ohio State Patrol Auxillery Captain, and numerous other clubs and organizations in the Xenia community, as well as Bethel Community Church where he served as audio technician and was loved and appreciated by all for his committment.  Norm made a decision to donate his body to Wright State for medical research.  There will be a celebration of his life at Bethel Community Church 1020 Lower Bellbrook Rd, Xenia, OH 45385 on April 1, 2017 at 1 pm with family at 12:30.  His faithful church family will provide a meal following
