Orin J. Linden, 77, of Cedarville, went Home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Soin Medical Center. He was born April 5, 1948, in Harlan, Iowa, the son of Darrell V. and Velma L. (Kirby) Linden. He was a 1966 graduate of Atlantic High School, attended Iowa State University (1966-68), Bible Baptist College (1968-1971), and graduated from LeTourneau College in 1975 with a BS in Bible with Aviation option. On October 28, 1972, he married, Sandra A. (Peebles) in Elkhart, Indiana, and the two joined Wycliffe Bible Translators in 1979. He is survived by his wife, four children, Tonya (Benjamin) Benzenhoefer, Tiffany Linden, Todd (Jennifer) Linden, and Timothy (Amy) Linden, grandchildren, Alexandra Rose Linden, Samuel Todd Linden, Myka Elizabeth Linden, Spencer Everett Linden, Vivianne Marie Linden, and Meredith Joyce Linden, a sister-in-law, Charlotte Linden, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and by two brothers, Eric Linden and Arno Linden. Orin will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A Celebration of Orin's Life will be held on June 13 at Grace Baptist Church, Cedarville. Private burial will be held by the family in North Cemetery.
