R. Warren Sanders, 83, of Miamisburg, passed away Monday, December 1, 2014, at Hospice of Dayton. He was born May 7, 1931, in Bowersville, Ohio, the son of Harold and Alice Smith Sanders. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Ruth E. (Jenkins) Sanders, whom he married October 3, 1964, a daughter and son-in-law, Kelli (David) Novak, Miamisburg, a grandson, Landen Novak, sisters-in-law, Phyllis Lang, Jamestown, Judy Pye, Xenia, and Janie (Jerry) Jenkins, Midland, MI, nieces and nephews, Tami and Garry Jankowski (son Griffin), Kimberly and Kevin Snyder (Chase and Kendra), Mark and Brendra VanBuskirk, Chris and Doreen VanBuskirk (Rebecca, Sarah), Kara Sands (Emily), Jeffrey and Lisa Jenkins (Jeffrey) and Jennifer and David Juday, by numerous cousins, and by many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws, Hollie and Bertha Jenkins, a sister-in-law, Sandra VanBuskirk, and by two brothers-in-law, Terry Pye and Richard Lang. Services will be held at 11am, Thursday, December 4, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Visitation will be held from 9:30am Thursday until service time. Burial will be in Silvercreek Township Cemetery.
