Ralph L. Simons, 76, of Xenia formerly of Hillsboro, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2014, at Liberty Nursing Center. He was born February 7, 1938, in Xenia, Ohio, the son of William E. and Vera M. Simons. He retired from Ohio Bell Telephone with 38 years of service. He also served as Union Steward and President of the Xenia Local Communication Workers of America (CWA). He is survived by his wife, June (Middleton) Simons, Hillsboro, three sons, Christopher (Denise) Simons, Xenia, Craig Simons (significant other, Kate), and Ted (Vickie) Simons, Xenia, 19 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, a brother William A. (Julianne) Simons, Xenia, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Lindsey Grace Simons.
