Rebecca (Jervis) Hilderbrandt Pickering, 70, of Xenia, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at Ohio's Hospice of Dayton. She was born July 20, 1955, in Xenia, Ohio, the daughter of John P. and Sarah Rose Norckauer Jervis. She was a 1973 graduate of Carroll High School and a graduate of Carousel Beauty College. She will be remembered as a creative individual who shared her talents in many ways. Through her years as a devoted hairdresser, her love of crafts, and her talent for arranging florals, her creativity touched the lives of many. She is survived by a son, Josh (Heidi) Hilderbrandt, granddaughter, Jenna (Ryan) Stockdale, siblings, Joel (Scottie) Jervis, Chris (Barb) Jervis, Monica (Kent) Beam, Anita Frank, Tony Jervis, Jay Jervis, Shawn (Julie) Jervis, Scott Jervis, Ricky (Maria) Jervis, and Sandra (Van) Roberts, by numerous nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Leonard R. "Bud" Hilderbrandt, Jr., on September 3, 2007, and by her second husband, Charles Pickering, on January 13, 2022.  Rebecca will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Memorial services will be held 4pm, Sunday, September 28, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St. Xenia. Visitation will be held from 2pm Sunday, until service time.
