Richard L. Hilling, 74, of Xenia, passed away Monday, June 6, 2016, at his residence. He was born July 25, 1941, in Xenia, Ohio, the son of William L. and Marjorie L. Grooms Hilling. He is survived by three uncles, Terry (Ginny) Grooms, New Vienna, Harrison (Lena) Grooms, Jamestown, and Charles (Brenda) Grooms, Morristown, TN, two nieces, Tammy Nagle, Wilmington, and Kimberly (John) Stewart, Beavercreek, two great-nieces and a great-nephew, and by many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Patricia Byrd, and by a brother, Larry Hilling.  Graveside services will be held at 2pm, Thursday, June 9, at Woodland Cemetery, Xenia. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Southside Church of God, 205 Lake St., Xenia, OH, 45385, in his memory.
