Rita Ann (Allen) Kriss, 86, of Xenia, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at her residence. She was born August 9, 1929, in Xenia, Ohio, the daughter of Earl P. and Helen Brennan Allen. She was a member of St. Brigid Church and worked for many years at Donges Drug Store. She is survived by a son, Nicholas M. (Deborah A.) Kriss, Xenia, a daughter, Mary Lou (Paul) Beach, Beavercreek, 11 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Michael Kriss, on January 6, 2005, by a great-granddaughter, Ella Rose Kriss, and by two sisters, Helen Louise Quinn and Mary Agnes Newcomer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am, Wednesday, September 9, at St. Brigid Church, 312 Fairground Rd., Xenia, with Rev. John Krumm officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Tuesday, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Burial will be in St. Brigid Cemetery.
