Robert E. "Bob" Pollock, 90, of Okeechobee, Florida, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2014, at Hospice of Okeechobee. He was born September 8, 1924, in London, Ohio, the son of Homer and Daisy Towne Pollock. He was a member of Cedarville United Methodist Church, and was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during World War II. He retired from Morris Bean & Co. after 40 years of employment. He is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Davidson, Jackson, MI, three sons, David (Theresa) Pollock, Jamestown, Doug (Janda) Pollock, Muskegon, MI, and Warren James (Laura) Bond, Xenia, a former daughter-in-law, Susan Pollock, 12 grandchildren; Shannon, Susan, Stephanie, Keith, Jillian, Colin, Kelly, Danyelle, Lee, J.B., Tiffany, and Austin, several great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Virginia Pollock, his second wife, Merle Pollock, by a daughter, Pamela Pollock, a sister, Irene Howell, and by five brothers. Services will be held at 11am, Wednesday, November 26, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Visitation will be held from 10am Wednesday until service time.
