Robert L. Merritt, 56, of Beavercreek, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2015. He was born May 6, 1959, in Covington, Kentucky, the son of John T. and Virgie C. Spradlin Merritt. He was a 1978 graduate of Xenia High School, and was an employee at Greene, Inc. He is survived by his father, John T. Merritt, Xenia, a brother, Keith (Janet) Merritt, and by a niece, Rebekah Merritt, all of Middletown, and by many close friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virgie C. Merritt. Services will be held at 10am, Friday, September 25, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., with Pastor Josh Bevan officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Thursday at the funeral home.
