Robert W. "Bob" Stanley, 67, of Xenia, passed away Monday, December 26, 2022, at his residence. He was born August 12, 1955, at Ft. Meade, Maryland, the son of Robert E. and Arlene Ripke Stanley. He was a 1974 graduate of Xenia High School, and retired from Sunoco Products, Beavercreek, after 43 years employment. He is survived by a daughter, Heather Reed (Donald Meyers), a son, Jason (Cindy) Stanley, grandchildren, James Stanley (Casey Stevens), Madison Stanley (Bill), Mariah Reed (Zakaylo Thomas), and Spencer Longnecker (Megan), great grandchildren, Nikyee, Kayla , Casey James (CJ), Zariah, and Grayson, a sister, Dr. Jodi (Christopher) Sperber, a brother, Russell Velliquette, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Janet L. (Cummings) Stanley, on January 8, 2008, and by a brother, Randall Lee "Rick" Velliquette.  Bob will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Services will be held at 10am, Thursday, January 5, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm Wednesday night at the funeral home.
