Roger E. Collins, 89, of Xenia, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at his residence. He was born October 11, 1932, in Cedarville, Ohio, the son of A. Roger and Clara Kershner Collins. He was a member of Faith Community United Methodist Church, the Cedarville Masonic Lodge, and was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Suzanne C. (Smith) Collins, whom he married, May 3, 1969, a sister, Carolyn (Tom) Cochran, Tucson, AZ, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and by a sister, Charlotte Stormont. Roger will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Memorial services will be held at 11am, Thursday, June 16, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Visitation will be held from 10am Thursday, until service time at the funeral home. Private graveside services will be held by the family In Massies Creek Cemetery, Cedarville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P. O.
