Ronald L. "Buzz" Daum, Jr., 84, of Xenia, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021, at his residence. He was born April 30, 1936, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Ronald and Edith Jonischus Daum. He was a 1954 graduate of Xenia Central High School, a member of Xenia United Presbyterian Church, and was the former owner of Daum's Carpet and Furniture. He is survived by his wife, Pamela (King) Daum, and children Scott Daum, Wellington, FL, Stephen (Georgia) Daum, Centerville, and Jennifer (Marc) Muia, Liberty Twp., and step-children Melanie (Scotty) Cyphers, and Kerey Denger.  His grandchildren include Jessica, Joshua, and Joel Daum, Taylor and Lauren Muia, Courtney, Kaylee, Kaya, Connor, Keira, and Cami Cyphers, four great-grandchildren, a sister, Doris (Edward) Alexander, a sister-in-law, Charlotte Daum, by many nieces and nephews, and close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Patricia A. (Ralls) Daum, and by a brother, David Daum.

Buzz enjoyed doing business with people around the Xenia community. He loved to travel and had many adventures with friends and family in Florida, Michigan, and Cumberland Lake. He was active in the lives of his children and grandchildren. He fished, golfed, raced sailboats, boated, water skied rode motorcycles and snowmobiles and enjoyed an active and full life.

Buzz will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.  Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at Woodland Cemetery Mausoleum, Xenia. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Xenia United Presbyterian Church, 343 W. Ankeney Mill Rd., Xenia, OH, 45385, in his memory.
