Ronda Marie Smith, 62, of Beavercreek, passed away January 1, 2019 at Greene Memorial Hospital. She was born April 16, 1956, in Xenia, Ohio, the daughter of David Lewis "Louie" and Marcella Faha Smith. She was a 1974 graduate of Xenia High School, and was a graduate of The University of Dayton, where she received her Master's degree. She was a former safety officer, and sergeant with the Beavercreek Police Department. She owned and operated Spatique Imagine Studio in Beavercreek and was a member of the Greene County Republican Women.  She is survived by her sister, Nancy J. (Mark) Sweeterman, Centerville, nieces and nephew, Alison Sweeterman, Melissa (Charlie) Sweeterman-Slonaker, and David Sweeterman, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and by a sister, Jean Kaye Smith. Ronda will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am, Tuesday, January 15, at St. Brigid Church, 312 Fairground Rd., Xenia, with Father Andrew Cordonnier officiating. Visitation will be held from 10am Tuesday, until service time at the church. Burial will be in St. Brigid Cemetery.
