Rose Ann Compton, 96, of Xenia, passed away Friday, April 23, 2021, at Heartland of Beavercreek. She was born April 14, 1925, in Xenia, Ohio, the daughter of Lyle and Margaret Shaw Delph. She was a member of Oldtown United Methodist Church, a 1943 graduate of Xenia High School, and retired as a teacher's aide with the Xenia Community Schools. She is survived by a son, Michael (Pamela) Compton, two cousins, Rita Delph, Troy and Jim Delph, Fairborn, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Eugene Compton, on September 9, 2009, and by a grandson, Cory Michael Compton. Rose Ann will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Graveside services will be held at 11AM, Monday, April 26, at Woodland Cemetery, Xenia. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a favorite charity in her memory.
