Rudy J. Brown, 61, of Xenia, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at Miami Valley Hospital Jamestown Emergency Center. He was born March 25, 1958, in Jamestown, Ohio, the son of William C. "Bud" and Katherine G. Smith Brown. He was a 1976 graduate of Greeneview High School, and was a member of the Greeneview High School football "Chain Gang" for many years. He was a former store manager with Don's Grocery, Xenia, and with Uhl's Grocery, Jamestown. He is survived by his wife, Melissa (Hall) Brown, whom he married, May 11, 1996, four sons, Isaiah McAdams, Florida, Jacob McAdams (Alyssa Willibey), Jamestown, Joseph Cleveland Lee Brown and Alex Neal Brown, of Xenia, brothers, Richard (Barbara) Brown, San Antonio, TX, Randy Brown, Xenia, and David (Sharon) Brown, Dayton, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and by three brothers, Ronald Wayne Brown, Rocky Brown, and Bill Brown. Rudy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be held from 4-8pm Friday, April 12, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Graveside services will be held at 11am, Saturday, in Woodlawn Cemetery, Bowersville.
