Ruth Ann (Buttermore) Guyton, 94, of Xenia, passed away Monday, March 16, 2026, at Soin Medical Center, Beavercreek. She was born January 18, 1932, in St. Mary's, WV the daughter of Eileen Buttermore. She is survived by two sons, Steven (Kristina) Guyton, and Robert (Suellen) Guyton, two daughters, Mary Jane Strickland, and Joyce (David) Wilson.  Grandchildren, Gary (Dawn) Strickland, Jessica (Michael) Barnes, Jennifer Strickland, Chris (Rebecca) Strickland, David (Adrian) Strickland, Amanda (Rich) Clayton, Emily (Lee) Akers, Elizabeth (Tom) Comer, Colin (Mieko) Matheny, Karen (Trevor) Kirpaul, Stephanie (Andrew) Eldridge, David (Nicole) Guyton, Allison Strickland, Nicole (Al) Flippo.  Great-grandchildren, Nichole, Olivia, Matt, Nathan, Brooke, Grace, Jackson, Bryce, Brody, Zachary (Emily), Mallory, Julia, Jacob, Maleah, Will, Lee III, Sam, Max, Jon, Alec, Genevieve, Luc, Ingrid, Amari, Alonzo, Alana, James, William, Lilly, Sierra, and Dylan.  3 great-great-grandchildren, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends.

She was preceded in death by her mom, her husband, Donald E. Guyton, a son Donald E. "Ougie" Guyton, Jr., a daughter, Valerie Strickland, a son-in-law David Strickland, and Precious, her companion dog. Ruth will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Services will be held at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia. The family will be having private services with burial at Woodland Cemetery at 11AM on Saturday, March 21.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Humane Society of Greene County or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in her memory.
