Went Home to be with the Lord March 8, 2025 at home surrounded by loved ones.

Ruth is Survived by her Husband Robert Hoffer, Son: Eric Spencer; Step-Daughters: Cindy (Jim) McNamara & Cathy Hallam; Grandchildren: Ashley (Donovan), Nick, Stevie, Landon, Amber, & Bre; Great-grandchildren (Carsten, Andric & Desmond) and more; Nephews, Nieces; and Special Friend Angelia Thornton.

Preceeded in death by her Parents: Allen and Hazel (Peterson) Middleton; Her Siblings: Tom (Helen- living) Middleton; Norma (Ray) Sparh; Jonny Middleton; Late Husband: Richard Dailey; & Step-Daughter: Connie (Steve-living) Ellinger.

Ruth was a home maker, with a period of time spent working outside the home as a Bank teller/Loan officer.  Ruth enjoyed sewing, gardening, & traveling.  She grew up on the farm, young adult life racing, then became part of the Firefighting and Mason communities.  Ruth continued to follow her son racing across the country.  She loved animals, making it a priority to donate to The Humane Society.  She spent retirement with her husband Bob and their companion Foxy in Florida.  The last 2 years spent close to family in Xenia, Ohio.

Ruth will be deeply missed.  In Lieu of flowers please make donations to Ohio's Hospice.
