Ruth E. (Jenkins) Sanders, 80, of Miamisburg, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at Kettering Medical Center. She was born June 16, 1937, in Greene County, Ohio, the daughter of Hollie and Bertha Jenkins. She was a graduate of The University of Dayton. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kelli (David) Sanders-Novak, Miamisburg, a grandson, Landen Novak, sisters, Phyllis Lang, Jamestown, Judy Pye, Xenia, and Janie (Jerry) Jenkins, Midland, MI, nieces and nephews, Tami and Garry Jankowski (son Griffin), Kimberly and Kevin Snyder (Chase and Kendra), Mark and Brendra VanBuskirk, Chris and Doreen VanBuskirk (Rebecca, Sarah), Kara Sands (Emily), Jeffrey and Lisa Jenkins (Jeffrey) and Jennifer and David Juday (Benjamin), by numerous cousins, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, R. Warren Sanders, on December 1, 2014, a sister, Sandra VanBuskirk, and by two brothers-in-law, Terry Pye and Richard Lang. Services will be held at 11am, Monday, January 8, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Visitation will be held from 9:30am Monday until service time.
