Sally Jane (Beason) White, 79, of Xenia, Ohio, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2026 in the great care of Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton. Sally was a keeper in the deepest sense. She kept in touch with friends from every stage of her life for a lifetime. She had scheduled times of the week, except for her daily TV shows, devoted to keeping in touch with everyone, keeping up with their lives and of course the current drama. She kept letters and pictures, filled countless scrapbooks with the name, date and where the picture was taken, making the phrase a picture is worth a thousand words (to 997) or literally keeping everyone informed even after her passing. Sally loved to decorate, taking pride in both the inside and outside of the house and having to rebuild 3 times from tornado damage gave her plenty opportunities. Sally was the definition of family first, a pillar of the family never forgetting a birthday, even for the animals, an anniversary or milestone. Hosting and feeding everyone with “Mamaw’s cooking”, holiday meals were served at 2 pmand if you weren’t there at 2:01 you would get a call asking where. To put a person into words is an impossible feat, especially for Sally Jane. Sally was born December 10, 1946, daughter of John C. And Helen K. (Mckenzie) Beason whom proceeded her in death. She was a graduate of Xenia High School, and a member of Xenia United Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her husband, Lonnie G. White, whom she married, June 30, 1967, sister Molly (Thomas) Bowell, two children Melissa Garringer, Brent (Paula) White. She was a Mamaw to four grandchildren Mckenzie (Brooke) Garringer, Isabella and Juan Mejia, and Blake (Margret) Bramer and great granddaughter Sutton Bramer, several nieces and nephews, close friends, and two cats who she loved dearly, Livie and Ollie. To say Sally will be missed is an understatement but to say she will be remembered by all she impacted is true. Visitation will be held at 10 am Friday, October 16th, followed by a service at 11am at Xenia United Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in new Burlington Cemetery. In celebration of life Sally’s life and compassion memorial gifts may be directed to the SPCA Cincinnati or your local animal shelter to ensure animals in need receive the love, shelter and care they deserve. Gifts can be made at spcacincinnati.org. Condolences may be made to the family at NeeldFuneralHome.com.
