Sandra K. "Sandy" Purdin, 74, of Cedarville, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021, at Ohio's Hospice of Dayton. She was born October 6, 1946, in Pennington Gap, Virginia, the daughter of James and Gladys Pitstick. She was a member of Cedarville United Methodist Church, and retired from YSI. She is survived by her husband, David Purdin, whom she married, July 2, 1996, her mother and father, Gladys and James Pitstick, a daughter, Amy (Greg) Grooms, a son, Brian (Candice) Purdin, by three grandchildren, Josie, Owen, and Noah Grooms, all of Cedarville, a brother, Wayne (Pam) Pitstick, Springfield, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joe Purdin, on June 16, 1991. Sandy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in North Cemetery, Cedarville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cedarville United Methodist Church, 54 W.
