Sandra "Sandy" S. (Fugate) Leach, 75, of Apache Junction, AZ, formerly of Xenia, Ohio, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, December 1, 2017, at 8:30 pm in Mesa, AZ. She was born October 4, 1942, in Columbus, OH. the daughter of Harrison and Ruth Esther Drake Fugate. She was a member of Xenia Nazarene Church. She is survived by her husband, James M. Leach, whom she married July 17, 1964; three children, Brian (Amy) Leach, Kim Jaynes and Dawn (Neal) Kemper; seven grandchildren, Katie Leach, Sarah (Justin) Wilson, Kyle Kemper, Jessica (Dom) Tucker, Alison (Joey) Wallen, Hannah Kemper and Kacie Wise; six great-grandchildren, Bailey, Ariah, Brennen, Clyde, David & Jonathan;  sisters, Nancy (Jeff) Gordon, Patty Edwards, and Lynn Fugate (Chuck) Staruch, brothers, Johnnie (Kathy) Fugate, Tom Fugate, and Doug (Frankie) Fugate, aunts and uncles, Edna (Carl) Baker, Bill (Betty) Drake, Paul (Jane) Drake, and Janet Drake, step-father, Roger Conklin; by numerous nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Sandy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Xenia Nazarene Church, 1204 W. Second St., Xenia, with Rev. Brian Leach officiating.
