Shane Edwin Luttrell, age 36, of Xenia, passed away December 23,  2017.  He was born April 28, 1981, in Saint Ignatius, Montana, the son of Mark E. and Linda S. Carpenter Luttrell.  He was a member of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes of the Flathead Reservation in Montana. He graduated from Xenia High School in 1999, and was a proud Nittany Lion, graduating from Penn State University in 2012.  He was a certified financial planner and licensed insurance agent in Kentucky and Ohio.  Shane was a lover of dogs, a persistent fisherman, a Kentucky Colonel, a member of the Masonic Lodge and a world class chef.  He was also known as one of Godzilla's greatest fans.  He was a wonderful son and a friend to all who knew him and his passing is a great loss to all.  He was preceded in death by grandparents, Thomas and Irene Carpenter, and Edwin and Martha Luttrell.  He is survived by his parents; brothers, Andrew Luttrell and Joshua Matthews; by several aunts, uncles, 2 special nieces; and by many dear and close friends. A celebration of the life of Shane Edwin Luttrell will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the Faith Community United Methodist Church at 100 Country Club Drive in Xenia, Ohio.  The gathering is between 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. in the church's Community Center.  Please use the rear entrance to the church.  Come join the friends and family of Shane Luttrell to mourn his passing and celebrate his life.
