Shirley Jean Wright, 83, of Beavercreek, formerly of Xenia, passed away Friday, May 30, 2025, at her residence. She was born March 15, 1942, in Xenia, Ohio, the daughter of Lowell V. and Jessie M. Spires Robinson.  She is survived by a son, Jeffrey (Amy) Wright, a daughter, Kimberly (Scott) Weckler,  three grandchildren, Stephanie (Devin) Luginbill, Justin Weckler, and Natalie Wright, and by many close friends. She was a member of a local homemaker's club (Emanon) and an active part of her ladies card club.  Camping and her family and friends were a large part of Shirley's life.  She was always willing to drop what she was doing to spend time with them or go on an adventure.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and by her husband, Edward E. Wright. Shirley will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Services will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, June 4, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia, with Pastor Andy Spencer officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am Wednesday, until service time. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Xenia. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, or to the Ronald McDonald House, c/o Cincinnati Children's Hospital, in her memory.
