Thelma Louise (Silcott) Robinette, 90, of Xenia, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at her residence. She was born December 18, 1926, in Pike County, Ohio, the daughter of Earl and Mazey Christian Silcott. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, where she sang in the choir for over 20 years, and was a volunteer at Greene Memorial Hospital. She was formerly employed at Kroehler Furniture until the Xenia tornado, and retired from the Xenia Gazette (1975-85). She is survived by her husband, John W. "Bill" Robinette, son, John "Ed" (Becky) Robinette, Jr., Xenia, grandchildren, Amber Robinette, Angelisa Palmer, great-grandchildren, Maddie, Patrick, Kate, a brother, Tom (Pat) Silcott, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. Thelma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family in Valley View Memorial Gardens.
