Thomas C. Creswell, Jr., 82, of Xenia, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at Ohio's Hospice of Dayton. He was born April 15, 1942, in Vacaville, California, the son of Thomas C. and Alice Hengy Creswell. He was a member of St. Brigid Church and a veteran of the United States Navy and United States Air Force, serving during the Vietnam War. He retired from the United States Air Force and Good Samaritan Hospital as a surgical technologist. He is survived by a daughter-in-law, Kim Creswell, grandchildren, Tayler (Landon)Hallam, Eric Creswell(Kayla Qumsieh), and Kiernan Fletcher, and six great-grandchildren, Lilly, Layne, Addy, Truet, Lawson, and Talia, including a special friend and caretaker, Amanda Taylor. He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife, Elizabeth Hannifan Creswell, a daughter, Helene Marie Fletcher, and by a son, Michael E. Creswell. Tom will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was a guy who trusted very few people, but if you were in, you felt the love. He had a sense of humor that could make you blush and a laugh that was contagious. His grandchildren added years onto his life and brought him immense happiness. Graveside services will be held by the family in St. Brigid Cemetery on August 9th at 10am. Followed by a luncheon at his favorite place to visit, Young's Jersey Dairy in Yellow Springs, OH.
